The WNFC Houston Heat exists as part of the larger mission of the WNFC to promote women's tackle football and help women and girls reach their fullest potential through the power of football. We welcome women of all shapes, sizes and athletic ability. For more information about becoming part of the Heat, sponsorship information, internships, or volunteer opportunities, please contact us. The Houston Heat is also a 5013c Non-Profit Organization.

TEAM HISTORY

Founded in 2017 in Houston, Texas

Established in 2017 with current owners Roland Walker, Shari Ruelas, Curtis Pippin and Darryl Hobbs. Head Coach Darryl Hobbs is also the Offensive Coordinator and Coach Curtis Pippin is the Defensive Coordinator. In addition to these owners we also have offensive line Coach Derick Mason and defensive line Coach Gary Howard Sr. Coach Shari Ruelas also works with defensive backs and receivers.
